We are a family-run company established in 2001 to bring the wonderful and mysterious cultures of Africa to Australia and the world.
Not content with our own personal collection of artifacts, we traveled to Africa and fell in love with it all over again. Our store collection has now expanded from not only amazing artifacts from all over the continent, but also contemporary jewellery, homewares and giftwares, dolls and newly made traditional crafts such as beadworks and clothing.
Our trip through Zimbabwe opened our eyes to the awe inspiring workmanship of the Shona arts. These stone sculptures vary from the small African animals and dolphins, through incredibly detailed busts of African women and warriors through to the abstract spirits that long held beliefs hold lie in the stone.
From young men carving with single blades by the side of the roads to internationally renowned artists whose works are held in museums and galleries across the globe.
